Operator
The site is operated by [Registered company name] Ltd, registered in England and Wales under company number [00000000]; registered office [Registered office address]; contact [contact email]. The details above are given in line with GOV.UK guidance for company websites.
Nature of the service
- We are an independent publisher of general reference material and an introduction service. We are not a buyer, broker, valuer, adviser, agent or representative of any buyer.
- We do not acquire, hold, process, value, clear or negotiate over any organisation's data.
- Content is general information. It is not legal, tax, financial or investment advice, and should not be relied on as such. Take professional advice on your own circumstances.
- An assessment is advisory. It compares information you provide with criteria that buyers publish, and does not indicate that a buyer will proceed.
No assurance of outcome
We give no assurance that any buyer will accept an organisation, as to price or timing, or that published criteria will remain unchanged. Buyers decide independently. Requesting an assessment is not an agreement to license any data and creates no obligation on either party.
Acceptable use
- Provide accurate information and make requests only where authorised to act for the organisation.
- Do not submit datasets, documents, personal data of third parties, credentials or payment details.
- Do not scrape the site, automate submissions, interfere with its operation or attempt unauthorised access.
- Do not use the site unlawfully or for unsolicited marketing.
We may decline or delete a submission and restrict access where these terms are breached.
Buyers and third parties
Where we direct you to a buyer's own application, your dealings with the buyer are governed by its terms and privacy notice, not ours. We do not control third-party sites or decisions and are not responsible for them. Any agreement is solely between you and the buyer.
Intellectual property
Content on this site, including guides, templates and design, belongs to us or our licensors. It may be read, printed and used for your organisation's own internal planning. Short extracts may be quoted with clear attribution and a link to the source page. Republication of whole documents, or presentation of our work as your own, requires our written permission.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.
Subject to that, the site and its content are provided "as is". We seek accuracy but do not warrant that content is complete, current or error-free. We are not liable for loss arising from reliance on general information, from the decisions or conduct of buyers or other third parties, or for loss of profit, revenue, business opportunity or goodwill. Our aggregate liability to you arising in connection with the site, in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise, is limited to £100.
Variation and governing law
We may amend these terms by publishing a revised version, and continued use after the revision date constitutes acceptance.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and its courts have exclusive jurisdiction, save that a person acting as a consumer may have the right to bring proceedings elsewhere.
